| The Great American Desert |
| The Great American Desert
This is a large expanse of about 50miles of barren, empty, dry wasteland, nothing can survive here without supplies. The ground is hot and scatterd with bones, both humana dn animal and also old wrecked wagons and broken pieces of wood from other wagons, it is a ghostly place.

| Camp Israel
This was built by The Mormons as they began there move west, it is now derelict and abandoned. there is slight water and still some old buildings to rest in.

| The Open Plains |
| Lake Tahoe
This is a large and beautiful lake, and a very welcoming site. The water is fresh and pure making it desirable to drink, its a great place to fill your tankards before heading out over the Rockies or the Desert. It is also a favorite palce for wild horses to drink from, they are timid though.

| The Great Platte
Many emmigrants passed through the great platte in 'the great move westwards' it joins to the Missouri River and is a long stretch of wasteland that has decent-ish grazing but not much shelter.

This is a huge long river that covers many miles adn is hte main water source of The Great plains.

| Fort Laramie
This is a large fort in the middle of the plains, it is a great palce to get supplies from and rest your horses and cows, it is used very often.

| The Rockies (1 sub-board)
This is wehre the terrible story of The Donner Party happened when a group of emmigrants got caught on the rockies in winter and out of 87 people only 45 survived.

| The Mormons Winter Camp
Brigham Young organised this camp to be built for the Mormons to stay as winter came and passed before they safely crossed the rockies successfully, it is now nothing but a derelict base camp, it is said outlaw bands rest here.

| The State Of Utah
This is run by Mormons and includes the whole of Salt Lake and many miles of the plain and desert around it.

Salt Lake City was made by the Mormons in 1846 so they could live peacefull away from mobs and religious racisim. They made mnay small towns and cmaps along the way to keep thier followers safe.

The largest indian tribe on the plains. lead by the famous Sitting Bull, allies with all tribes and followers from all tribe tend to seek Sitting Bull for help and answers.

another violent indian tribe who do not like the eastern settlers and will gladly kill them all, allies with Blackfeet.

| Cow Towns |
| Abilene
Abilene was hte first cow-town, it was set up by Joseph McCoy and the Kansas Pacific Railroad runs through it. here cowboys can bring cattle to be taken east to market, there is good grazing and water with pleanty of space for many thousands of cattle.

| Silver Creek City (1 sub-board)
This is a large mining town for about anything you wish to mine, tis main attraction is Silver creek which got its name fromt eh silver that can be got from its waters and surroundings along with many other metals. Beware of claim jumpers though. .

a large town that is quite highly-populated and plays a big part in the cattle industry.

Everyone knows about the OK Corral at tombstone where Wyatt Earp and his borthers fought against 'The Cowboys' an extremerly large outlaw band, the law came out ontop, as they normally do. . .

A large western city overlooing a mountian range.

| Nauvoo
An early Mormon town which got raided by mobs in 1845 casugin the Mormons to retreat to thier new city, Salt Lake City. Nauvoo is now a popular town for any settlers.
